The bet? If we enriched unstructured candidate data into clear, comparable profiles and leveraged AI to suggest high-fit matches, recruiters would be able to reach out to more candidates with higher confidence.
I led design and product strategy with the CEO along with a cross-functional team, shaping the early roadmap, defining workflows for search and applicant review, and building the design system that supported WellfoundAI's evolution.
As part of our strategy, we defined two offerings within our product:
• Self-Serve - Introduced AI-powered sourcing and outreach, enriched candidate profiles, and ATS integration.
• Autopilot - Extended self-serve tools with an AI-assisted recruiter team that automated search and outreach, leaving clients only to review top candidates.
WellfoundAI became the company’s premier paid sourcing product, powering the evolution of Wellfound’s B2B ecosystem. The foundational design and ATS integration now enable faster hiring cycles and more intelligent candidate matching for recruiters across the platform.
